What a great product
I must say, i was little skeptik against buying online from asia. But what a nice suprise i made.
The product is way over my expectations.
It`s a incredible lamp, and im kind of embarried that i didnt buy it earlier.

Fish-street and the serivice :

Im not sure how many of you have bought a lamp or any other product from a online seller before. Normaly you order and get the lamp some days/weeks later without getting any notice. From the guys at fish street you get so much more. First of all i got a mail giving me all the payment detailes. Then i got a shipping notice and the dhl tracking number.
I also had some other questions regarding the shipping and got a fast reply within hours.
Im more then impressed how they handeled the order. And for my concern this is going to be an ongoing relationship.

Within the next week after some more testing of the lamp. We are going to order at least 5 -10 more. The corals are getting a much better color, and everything is getting alot just great.

So if anyone are concerned about buying the lamp from this reseller, let me know. And i will personaly vouch for them.

For a simple led lamp it is great
I am using 1 110W on a 225L mixed reeftank (2 foot cube) and am pleased with the light. A couple of niggling issues, but overall bery happy.

The redesigned fans run very silently.

I replaced a pendant fitting with 150W MH and 2 x 24W T5's. The Maxspect unit isnt as bright in the centre of the tank, but the light is bluer and more evenly spread, giving less shadowing from my central rock structure. Overall the 2 lamps are roughly equivalent.

The main reason for going LED was heat, my tank would frequently get to 31c, and we have yet to hit the hottest part of summer yet in Australia, the Maxspect unit should allow me to run chillerless and maintain temperate < 30c.

No globes to replace every 9 months and less power used and I believe it will pay for itself in a year or so.

Programming on ballast is pretty basic, single on and off daily for both Blue and white. My biggest fault with the light is that in the case of a power outage both lights will come back on when the power is resumed regardless of the programming.

Excellent LED lighting
I am using two 110W on a 330 L reeftank and the quality and the power of the light is very good. The spectrum is a bit purple when compared to the T5 tubes (204W in total) that I used before.
Another advantage: The temperature of the reeftank has gone down by approximately 2 degrees after installing the Maxspect.
After receiving the new silent fans, which Fish-Street kindly sent me, I am impressed by the low noise levels: The Maxspect LED is as silent as a PC now.
I can recommend this LED light!

Excellent performance but faulty on arrival
Excellent delivery - 6 days to UK - but unit faulty on arrival with broken wire solder joint in PSU, probably due to transit vibration. Easiliy fixed and now very impressed with performance of the 160W unit I bought.
Much much brighter than the 150W T5s it replaced.
Also has the new quiet fans and its barely audible at all.
I need 2 in total for my 750L reef, but didn't want to shell out all the money until i had tried one out - I'm so impressed with the performance that I have now ordered a second unit.
Cheers
Mark

I am looking forward to receiving the more silent fans, because the present fans are much too noisy!
The fans in both the LED-panel and the powersupply are very noisy and should be changed for more silent fans, if the light is to be used on at reeftank in your livingroom.
I have measured the noise-levels and the are 45-50dB......

Awesome lightning
This lightning is perfect for my 140 L cube aquarium. It's bringing out the colour of my inhabitants and have that natural shimmer that at HQI gives.

I truly recommend this!

The only negative part is that it is to noisy for me but with a change of the fans it probably going to be fixed to a better level.

Great lighting, but noisy
This light is the best I have ever seen. It has very good spread and warm and purple light at around 14-16.000K. The light is very much recommended and a small improvement over the 150w plus 2xt5 tubes I used to have over my 160 litre tank. Also, great control and nice design. The only problem is the noisy fans, but as soon as those are changed this lamp will be a best-seller. Also would have been nice to be able to control the fans and have a dimmer for the light. The blue light is extremely intense and your corals will simply glow. If not for the noise this would have been an "excellent" rating.

Editor from Fish-Street.com : We will send a new silent fan to Jakob on next week. And for customer is live in cooling country, never using chiller or Fan before~ So it think about the noise. Actually the sound equal to Jebo 6 Head Fan and low sound than the chiller fan sound
